This album features Alice Hu, Christopher Ludwig, Mark McGregor and Jeff Pelletier on Flute, Alina Khvatova on Violin, Tatiana Khvatova and Danielle Marcinek on Piano, and Tatiana Khvatova and Frank Ludwig on Harpsichord.
This newly recorded cd contains works written over a span of 28 years and reflects Mr. Ludwig's wide range of compositional styles and techniques, all of which remain melodic within their contemporary genre.

Carol Greenly of Con Brio Recordings described the all piano recording Expressivity as "A fresh, new collection of contemporary piano solos by Canadian, Christopher Ludwig, this CD presents a variety of moods, forms and styles."
In 2007, composer Christopher Ludwig collaborated with pianists Jayne Hayes, Anna Levy and Danielle Marcinek to create this large scale recording of his formidable output of keyboard compositions. This album may be the composer's first major studio recording, but it is surprisingly mature. Expressivity remains a major achievement in its scope, stylistic diversity and broad spectrum of pianistic challenges and techniques to this day. It was recorded at Quantum Sound Recording Studio and released in 2007 under the Con Brio Recordings Label.
